Help give “Red Mesa” a shot at an Oscar nomination!

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Winning Best Short Film at LALIFF qualifies “Red Mesa” to be considered for a 2011 Oscar nomination. In order to reach this goal, we now need to raise funds for a grass-roots Oscar campaign, which will include: making a 35mm film print from our D5 master, printing professional DVDs and press-materials, and sending the film to festivals and screenings across the country in order to build a broad base of audience support.

All in all, we need to raise $25,000. The El Paso Community Foundation has graciously offered to act as our fiscal sponsor, so your donation is tax deductible to the extent of the law.

To help give us a shot at an Oscar nomination, you can donate online by visiting:

https://www.epcf.org/donate

On the line that reads: “Does this contribution go to a particular fund or project?”, please type “Red Mesa.”

If you prefer to send your donation by mail, you can send it to El Paso Community Foundation, PO Box 272, El Paso, TX 79943. Make the check payable to the El Paso Community Foundation and write “Red Mesa” on the memo line.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
